The courses and AWS certifications
None of these is an exam prep course. Each one does cover the topics of a specific AWS certification, so it's a good place to start preparing. You sit the exam itself at a Pearson VUE test centre or online.

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Foundational level. AWS Introduction covers the topics of this exam: global infrastructure, the shared responsibility model, the main services, billing and support plans.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Associate level, for architects and admins. AWS Specialist is two hands-on days with services that come up in the exam: IAM, VPC, EC2, Auto Scaling, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch and CloudFormation.

AWS Certified Developer – Associate
Associate level, for developers. AWS 4 Developers & GenAI covers AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, AWS SAM, CloudWatch and X-Ray, with six labs on top.

AWS Certified AI Practitioner
The foundational exam on AI, ML and generative AI on AWS. Building GenAI applications on AWS starts with the basics of ML and GenAI, then moves into practice: Amazon Bedrock, prompt engineering, RAG, Guardrails. That practical side is what AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional tests, an exam for people who build GenAI applications for a living.

Common questions
Which AWS course should we start with?
If your team is new to AWS, start with AWS Introduction. Admins and architects who'll be working in AWS can go straight to AWS Specialist, because the first module covers the basics. For developers there's AWS 4 Developers & GenAI, and for teams building LLM applications, Building GenAI applications on AWS. Not sure? Email me and I'll help you pick.
Do the courses prepare you for AWS certifications?
For a large part, yes, although they aren't exam prep courses. Each one covers the topics of a specific certification: Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect – Associate, Developer – Associate or AI Practitioner. Do some practice tests before you sit the exam.
Is this official AWS training?
No, these are my own programmes, which I adapt to your team. Official AWS classroom training uses a programme and materials written by AWS and is delivered by AWS Training Partners. I'm an AWS Champion Authorized Instructor, so I know both kinds.
Online or on site?
Either, with the same programme and the same labs. Online sessions are live. On site, I come to your company.
How many people can take part?
I run private courses for teams of up to 12 people.
Do we need our own AWS account?
No. You get an AWS account and environment for the course, and there's nothing to install on your machine.
What language are the courses in?
English or Polish.
What do we get after the course?
You keep the training materials and get a certificate of completion. That's not the same as an AWS certification, which you earn by passing an exam.
How much does AWS training cost?
It depends on the course. Building GenAI applications on AWS has its price on the page. For the others, email me at hello@lukado.eu.
Can you adapt the programme to our team?
Yes. Before the course we talk about what your team already knows and what it wants to use AWS for. I adapt the programme from there.
